Left, American Robin and Apple Blossom, Michigan state flower and bird. Right, Cardinal and North Carolina Lily, North Carolina state flower and bed. I’m a Marine wife, and left Michigan after 20 years of living there to move down to Jacksonville NC last year to finally start living with my Husband. Michigan will always be my home, but I have totally fallen in love with North Carolina. I have met so many wonderful people and have really enjoyed my stay here. I will forever consider this my second home. We found out a few months ago my husband had orders to move to 29 Palms CA. I can’t wait  to come back to NC  to stay here permanently when my husband’s ready to retire. The quote, is pretty self explanatory. Home is wherever there is love.
